I was born in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe’s second largest city. I started playing tennis at the age of 12. In this same year I was selected as the most improved player at my tennis club and the following year I won the U14 tennis tournament. At the same time I was called to for the provincial soccer and tennis squad. I opted for tennis and I did well for the province. In 1998 I was invited to play in Germany for 2 months in tournaments in Nagold and Esslingen. I reached the quarter finals. The standard was very high. After this I started coaching as my parents were unable to afford to send me to any further tournaments. I started coaching for a Development program where I assisted 6 schools each week. I was later assigned to a special school for under privileged children and orphans. I worked at the school for 6 years. In 5 of these years I won the Tennis Championship for the Private Schools. In the world of tennis I also officiated in Futures Tournaments and Davis Cup Ties. I like watching soccer and my favourite team is Manchester United. I like reading, watching movies and playing soccer. I coach players from ages 4 to adults. I look forward to working together with you as a team. My friends call me TJ.
